    We reiterate here though that the majority of the items in this store are handmade making them as unique as the person who made them. Consequently there may be slight variations when you compare your received item to that which is shown on a device screen. Please keep this in mind when considering requesting a refund, exchange or credit.

    Change of Mind

    Due to the very nature of the products we showcase it is not possible to offer Change of Mind refunds, returns or exchanges. We showcase handmade products direct from the makers. We hope you can appreciate this policy and we advise you to read all the information relating to each product prior to purchase. Should you need to know any other information not stated, please contact us at any time for further details so we can assist you in making your purchase decision.


    Damaged or Faulty Goods

    If the item you have purchased arrives and is Faulty or Damaged, we will replace or refund the item within 30 days of receipt of the item.

    If in Australia, the cost of return shipping on Faulty or Damaged goods is complimentary.

    To return an item, please follow the following steps outlined below

    2. You will receive an email requesting details and  any supporting images of the damaged or faulty item. 
    3. You will receive details of where to send the product back to and a return reference number.
    4. You will receive an email confirming your returned package has been received and actioned.

    If you live outside Australia, we are unable to offer you complimentary return shipping at this time. Please contact us at for information.

    Please ensure that you use a trackable or signed for delivery service such as registered post as we cannot credit your account until the item has been received and inspected.

    If the 30 days has expired since receipt of the item and there is a perceived fault with the purchase, it will be dealt with at the discretion of Temples and Markets. Again contact us at

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or Store Credit claim.
    If you are approved, then your refund or Store Credit will be processed. If a refund, credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. If a store credit is issued you will receive the paperwork also in a number of days.

    Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

    If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
    Then contact your credit card provider, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
