    Q Do you ship worldwide?

    A Yes absolutely. Even though we are based in Australia, and our products either ship from our Australian warehouse or from our suppliers based in South East Asia, we are delighted to be able to ship overseas and around the world. Please refer to our shipping policy for further details.

    Q How long will it take before my gorgeous purchase arrives?

    A Please allow a normal transit time of 1-7 business days if the product has come from our warehouse in Australia. Our preferred Postage Provider is Sendle. During Covid, please note shipping times are totally out of our control.

    In very rare instances, if the item is made to order and coming from overseas, a longer delivery time of 4-6 weeks may be experienced i.e 4 weeks to hand make and 2 weeks to ship from overseas. You will be advised accordingly. Please be aware that in some cases, a product may have sold out and the artisan is remaking it by hand. However we will endeavour to keep you informed as to the expected delivery time and offer you peace of mind that, should you not wish to wait you will have the option at this stage to cancel the order and choose an alternative item.

    Q What are the shipping costs?

    A If your item is being shipped from our warehouse in Australia, it will attract a flat rate of shipping of $9.95 for delivery anywhere within Australia. Sometimes a small charge may be incurred for certain heavier items or orders but this will be advised in the product description. Should you wish for the shipping time to be expedited, please contact us for a quote at

    Rarely, there may be occasions whereby items are shipped directly from our Suppliers in South East Asia, and shipping cost will vary according to the cost of the item. The shipping cost is stated at Checkout. 

    Be assured that we will not profit from shipping costs.

    International shipping: Cost calculated at checkout and goes up incrementally depending on value of order. The flat shipping rate from our warehouse in Australia will not apply to deliveries outside of Australia. Temples and Markets is not responsible for any customs or duty charges incurred for delivery to countries other than Australia. This will be the responsibility of the customer ordering the item for overseas delivery.

    Q What is your refund policy?

    We want you to be ecstatic with your unique purchase and to be thrilled with your Temples and Markets experience. 

    So in the unlikely event that an item has arrived in an imperfect state we offer a no quibble refund or exchange policy once. Please refer to our Refunds Policy. However please note that handmade items and/or items made from recycled materials may vary from piece to piece. Due to the nature of the products we sell and the fact that they have been made by hand we are unable to offer change of mind refunds or exchanges.

    Q The item I purchased wasn't exactly as it appeared on the website when it arrived. Why?

    Because most of our products are individually hand made with unique materials there may be some pattern or colour discrepancies to what is shown on the product image on this website. We have sourced pieces that are not mass produced and that is what makes your purchase so special.
