Bua Creative is a Suisse-Thai apparel company that prides itself on the craftmanship of all kinds of high quality handmade leather goods - bags, belts, travel goods and accessories.
Many of their bags are classic luxurious leather shapes but they also make on-trend pieces in unique shapes and vibrant colours.
Bua bags - also known as KennysTasche_Brand - are handmade just outside of Bangkok and the company can be recognized by its lotus logo. Their factory is only small but with highly skilled craftsmen. The small company of artisans was borne from the concept of "Quality in Design" and their beautiful leather bags featured on our store certainly reflect that.
10 years ago Sathabongot Simmen was working at a furniture and decor company in Bangkok where leather was a large component. She fell in love with designing with leather and after having her second baby she left the decor company to start Bua Creative. At that time Bua consisted of herself and one craftsperson. With a few designs they started selling at Bangkok JJ (Chatuchak) weekend markets, their designs were eye catching at a time when leather wasn't as fully represented at the markets as it is now. From there, as they say the rest is history.
We were delighted to first meet Bua (on the left) at the busy and bustling JJ (Chatuchak) Markets in Bangkok. We've developed a warm relationship since then and we are absolutely thrilled to be bringing Bua's creations direct from Thailand to you now.
